Position Summary:
As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a critical role in shaping and guiding all aspects of the HR function. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, managing the full employee lifecycle, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with company goals while ensuring legal compliance.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead recruitment efforts, conduct job analysis, and oversee onboarding for new hires.
- Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution: Provide guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Training & Development: Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
- Compensation & Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits, payroll processing, and wellness initiatives.
- HR Systems & Data Management: Maintain HR records, manage HRIS software, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Performance Management & Succession Planning: Lead performance reviews, career development initiatives, and succession planning.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership to support organizational initiatives and provide mentorship to the HR team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles with a deep understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compensation structures, and benefits administration.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS and HR software applications.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience in Affirmative Action Planning preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role with occasional travel for recruitment events or training.
- Sedentary work with occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
