Position Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for transporting inventory between Lexair buildings, putting inventory away, and pulling parts for assemblers to support operations. This role involves material transportation, warehouse organization, and safe operation of forklift, box truck, and other company vehicles as needed. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a team environment, and experience driving box trucks.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receiving and stocking material in the warehouse in an organized and safe manner.
- Inventory Transportation: Loading, transportation, and unloading of material and parts between Lexair facilities.
- Pulling Parts for Assembly: Retrieve necessary components and materials from inventory for valve assembly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Packing Assembled Products: Prepare and pack assembled valves for shipping, ensuring secure and proper packaging to avoid damage during transit.
- Valve Assembly: As needed, assemble valves by following engineering drawings, work instructions, and established quality standards.
- Tool Operation: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for precise assembly tasks, adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- * Problem-Solving: Collaborate with peers and supervisors to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and resolve problems.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certifications: Driver’s License required.
- Experience: Prior experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
