What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote Coders, Inpatient ***TRAINING PROVIDED position at LexiCode?
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Work remotely from the your home office providing coding services to our clients;
- Review medical records and assign pertinent diagnosis and procedure codes based on the patient's medical record;
- Abstract appropriate information from the medical record based on the guidelines provided by the client;
- Meet coding productivity and accuracy expectations.
Training will begin May 8
- 12 weeks of Inpatient coding training
- Training held remotely M-F 40 hours per week
- PTO and flex schedules not allowed during training
- Training promissory note will be required
- Experienced coders who want to learn Inpatient coding are eligible
