Industrial Construction Project Manager

At Lexicon, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management department, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a culture of safety on the job site by ensuring that all direct team members, contractors, and subcontractors adhere to strict safety protocols.
• Establish and manage a quality program for the project, including quality hold points during fabrication, construction, and sign-off criteria.
• Coordinate all work between onsite contractors, suppliers, and owner's team to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed schedule for construction, including regular updates and progress reports.
• Track all invoices, payments, change orders, and back charges to ensure accurate financial management.
• Manage project communications, transmittals, and routine project reporting to stakeholders.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks to project performance related to safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
• Serve as the primary contact with the customer, providing exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial project management, with a strong background in construction safety and OSHA requirements.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project, with the ability to learn new software applications quickly.
