We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Lexicon, Inc. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all fabrication jobs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting all fabrication jobs, monitoring records on shop welders, and assisting in setting up and maintaining welding procedures, bolting procedures, and painting procedures required for projects. You will also provide feedback on questions related to qualifying and project requirements from shop employees.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a high school education or equivalent, a minimum of two years' experience in the construction industry and/or welding, and certified welding inspector (CWI) certification may be required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work overtime are essential.
