Job Summary
A nurturing, caring person to provide smooth coordination of staff / child interactions and curriculum activities in a classroom. Demonstrates the ability to consider each child's individual needs and the appropriate interest levels of the group in order to provide for developmentally appropriate curriculum. Assures that quality DSS and LMC standards are reached on a continuous basis.

- Incumbents in this role without 6 months experience must be supervised by senior staff.
- Provides a safe and nurturing learning environment while on duty.
- Ensures an age appropriate and structured learning environment in the classroom at all times.
- Facilitates positive interactions between children, parents, and team members.
