Qualifications:
- Valid Texas license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
- Ideally, a minimum of one year of clinical experience; however, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong proficiency in clinical assessments and critical thinking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and general computer literacy.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate residents' health needs, leading to the development of individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, following prescribed protocols and nursing standards.
- Continuously review and update care plans to adapt to changing patient needs and achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Provide residents and their families with education on health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Maintain precise and thorough documentation of all nursing interventions and patient progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all facility policies and state and federal regulations to maintain a high level of care quality.
