Job description
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions of the community. This individual ensures that all maintenance issues are handled promptly, professionally and completed in a timely manner, in keeping with our high standards.
Job Duties:
- Prepare vacant units for move-in.
- Respond, as directed, promptly and professionally to work order requests both during business hours and after hours.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs in the areas of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, sheetrock, appliances and more.
- Respond, as needed, to emergency work orders during and after business hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to snow removal, minimal landscaping, etc.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A minimum 1 year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade is required.
- Plumbing, electrical, and appliance experience.
- Must have excellent communication skills, along with a customer service attitude.
- Must maintain professional appearance and attitude.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekend hours and be available for on call status.
- Background check required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
