About the role: The facilities Engineer position performs a wide range of general and specialized critical infrastructure duties including preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and component replacements. It also provides technical and operational support of equipment including: HVAC units, UPS systems, ATS and parallel switch gear, generators, fire detection and extinguishing systems, alarm systems, pumps, valves, etc. Hardware planning and engineering duties are also performed.

Qualifications
- 1 or more years of facilities maintenance/engineering experience
- Technical degree, certified industry training, or vocational training or equivalent experience
- CFC certification a plus
- Working knowledge of facilities equipment (HVAC units, UPS systems, ATS and parallel switch gear, generators, etc.).
- Ability to perform testing, maintenance, and repairs on facilities equipment.
- Strong judgment/decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to use a wide variety of power and manual tools.
- Knowledge and practice of good safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively with various mechanical and construction contractors.
