About our Team
The LexisNexis® Public Safety Special Investigations Unit is comprised of former sworn and civilian law enforcement Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who leverage the full suite of LexisNexis offerings to assist customers. The SIU team aids law enforcement during critical incidents and major investigations and is available to provide support remotely or on-site, when applicable.
About the Role
This position exists to provide support to customers in the role of Investigative Trainer. This trainer will bridge the gap between customer requirements and production outcome as a subject matter expert on LexisNexis and Accurint TraX (ZetX) solutions within the Special Investigations Unit (SIU). The Public Safety SIU is comprised of former law enforcement experts who leverage the LexisNexis solutions and data offering to provide real-time investigative insight for LexisNexis customers. The role of Investigative Trainer requires a highly skilled and proficient user of Accurint TraX resources and the investigative process utilized for cellular devices. You will train, educate, and serve as subject expert for internal and external customers to aid law enforcement in using Accurint TraX resources and demonstrate best practices. Trainers take accountability for assisting students on their geolocation investigative journey, post-training, using Accurint TraX products and services.

Responsibilities
- Developing, planning, and conducting training on techniques for utilizing LexisNexis and Accurint TraX solutions for investigations involving cellular devices
- Monitoring and evaluating training programs, assesses results and implements enhancements as needed to ensure effectiveness of programs.
- Providing hands on training to customers during multi-day instructor led training classes
- Communicating complex processes in a simple, easy to understand manner
- Driving a high level of engagement with training attendees
- Designing training classes and training materials
- Operating professionally and effectively, often without direct supervision, while conducting high-quality training, data development, capability briefs, and reach-back support seamlessly across diverse analytic and technical teams
- Working cooperatively with others within the team and outside the team to achieve objectives.
- Assisting in process improvement efforts
- Functioning as a key driver of managing LexisNexis Risk Solutions revenue through effective integration and management of key accounts' education programs.
- Developing, delivering, and maintaining professional customer education curricula. Track, monitor, and report results to facilitate business operations with key accounts.
- Performing other duties as requested

The successful candidate will be required to pass both the standard company background check for all employees and an enhanced criminal background check conducted by the Company's state and local law enforcement partners conducted in compliance with the FBI's Criminal Justice Information System ("CJIS") security policy. The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Maryland : $79,500 - 132,400 USD
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Washington DC : $87,100 - 145,00
The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for New York and New Jersey : $83,300 - 138,700
