What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney - Litigation Associate - Small/Mid-Sized NYC Law Firm - Hybrid Remote position at Lexitas Legal Talent Outsourcing?
Our client, a small to mid-sized litigation firm, is seeking an Attorney to join their downtown NYC office.
Candidates should have General Liability experience and be admitted to practice in NY.
This firm primarily handles civil defense litigation, but also takes on some plaintiff side matters. Candidates who bring in plaintiff side matters receive 1/3 of any settlement/verdict fee due to the firm.
This firm also invites Associates to develop defense side business as well. Attorneys receive 15% origination credit for every defense side hour billed.
This is a unique opportunity as a junior or mid level Associate to start developing a book of business.
Competitive base salary (100k to 150k), bonus and benefits.
