Commercial Real Estate Lending Law Firm located in Midtown Manhattan seeks an Associate with 3-8 years of commercial real estate and commercial lender representation experience to assist in all components of sophisticated commercial real estate lender representation. This position requires experience with drafting commercial loan documents, including mezzanine, construction, balance sheet, and bridge loans. Compensation $175,000 - $225,000.
Duties:
- Represent institutional lenders in financing commercial, residential and mixed-use properties, from inception to closing.
- Draft Commercial loan documents. Experience with mezzanine, construction, balance sheet, and bridge loans.
- Perform review of organizational documents on borrowing entities.
- Review commitment letters, term sheets, fee letters, credit agreements and ancillary loan documents.
- Oversee Real Estate secured finance transactions, workouts, and restructurings.
- Review title reports, surveys, and oversee title clearance.
- Handle lending and debt finance related to property acquisition leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, refinancing, and other transactions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent legal research and writing skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization abilities, along with effective communication skills for client interactions are essential. Hands-on skills needed, with Microsoft 365. NY Bar Admission.
