Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced mid-level associate attorney to join our team. As an Elder Law Estate/Trust Litigation Associate, you will have the opportunity to take your practice to a level by being mentored by experienced attorneys and perfecting the skills to successfully attract and engage quality clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as the firm's primary attorney contact with clients for litigation matters
- Meet potential clients to assess potential conflicts of interest, case quality, suitability for the firm's practice, and potential profitability
- Litigation support, motions, and trial practice in all state courts and US District Courts
- Delegate effectively and manage time wisely
- Collaborate daily with attorneys and co-workers to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Virginia State Bar admission; Maryland and District of Columbia Bar admission a plus
- A minimum of two (2) years litigation experience in state/federal courts
- A positive attitude and ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and team members
