Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
Supervise BDC staff with a focus on achieving and exceeding department goals
Manage and follow up on dealership guest inquiries and sales opportunities
Handle all inbound sales calls with professionalism and efficiency
Conduct outbound prospecting calls to invite potential buyers to the dealership
Contact no-show customers to reschedule missed appointments
Convert internet leads and vehicle exchange opportunities into showroom appointments that result in sales
Respond to sales phone calls and internet leads in a timely and professional manner
Achieve store goals and contribute to overall dealership success
Team Leadership & Management
Recruit, hire, and train top-performing BDC representatives
Set individual and team sales goals to drive performance
Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) and provide real-time coaching and feedback
Conduct regular performance reviews and develop strategies for continuous improvement
Qualifications & Skills
Strong leadership & motivational skills to drive team success
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and staff
Proven sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably with BDC operations experience
Proficiency in CRM systems and lead management tools (Tekion experience preferred)
Analytical skills to assess data, track performance, and adjust sales strategies as needed
Ability to adapt to market trends and implement innovative sales techniques
