Job Description:
In Labor Finders we are seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Setting up and inspecting saw equipment
Installing and maintaining saw blades
Measuring materials and cutting them to exact specifications
Cutting both metallic and non-metallic materials accurately
Verifying dimensions using measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers)
Positioning guides, stops, and vises for precise cuts
Reading blueprints, templates, and job instructions
Pulling and preparing materials needed for cutting jobs
Maintaining a safe and organized work area
Qualifications & Skills:
5 years of experience operating a band saw
Proficient in reading a tape measure
Experience working with aluminum or steel is a strong plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work templates
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and follow instructions precisely
