A leading provider of core components for global car manufacturers, VS Company is supporting the emerging trend of the vehicle industry.

Responsibilities

As the Accounting Associate - CONTRACT you will:

• The Accounting Associate is responsible for reviewing and updating new and existing customer files, requiring analytical, quantitative, and technical skills, in order to make a recommendation as to the appropriate credit limit and payment terms to be assigned to the customer. The Credit Associate will consult with the Manager and/or Senior Manager as needed to review the progress of various projects and the overall status of the department.
• The Accounting Associate is responsible for reviewing travel expense vouchers whether required expense receipts are attached, accounting COA are properly selected before approve. (15%)
• The Accounting Associate is responsible for reviewing payment histories to prevent duplication payments or wrong payments. (10%)
• The Accounting Associate is responsible for collecting, reviewing, submitting Vendor registration, modification, reactivation. (30%)
• The Accounting Associate is responsible for internal audit purpose collection of documents for sales sample testing, invoice, PODs, cash receipts (20%)
• The Accounting Associate is responsible for supporting Bank Reconciliation, check deposit and miscellaneous deposit. (10%)
• The Accounting Associate is responsible for supporting during month-end closing such as downloading data, organize reporting data. (15%)
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related majors in an accounting, finance or economics/statistics, and various business management
• 1 years of relevant experience and knowledge in accounting & finance
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to work early/late hours as required to communicate with HQ offices in Korea and to complete Global Financial Closing on time

• Understand intermediate accounting principles and cash flow management
• Ability to think critically and analytically
• Exercise attention to detail and excellent organization skills
• Possess effective, professional interpersonal skills
• Abilities to move or carry objects or merchandises during the inventory counting or any job required objects movement needed.
