As the Marketing Creative Strategist (aka "Ideas Guy"), your mission is simple: bring fresh, bold marketing ideas to the table and help execute them. You’ll work closely with the CMO to develop campaigns that differentiate us in the IT space, engage our target audience, and generate leads. If you love thinking outside the box, experimenting with new marketing angles, and injecting personality into B2B IT marketing—this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Ideation & Strategy: Generate creative campaign ideas, messaging strategies, and unique ways to position our MSP services.
- Content Development: Work with writers, designers, and videographers to bring your ideas to life through blogs, ads, email campaigns, and social media.
- Lead Generation Innovation: Identify unconventional lead-gen strategies, including partnerships, events, and viral campaigns.
- Brand Storytelling: Develop compelling narratives that make IT solutions interesting and relatable to small and medium-sized businesses.
- Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of industry trends and marketing best practices to keep our strategies fresh and relevant.
- Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute and refine campaigns based on performance metrics.
What We’re Looking For:
- A creative thinker with a track record of successful marketing ideas.
- Experience in B2B marketing (MSP/IT industry experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of content marketing, branding, and digital advertising.
- Ability to sell an idea and collaborate with a team to bring it to life.
- A knack for writing compelling, attention-grabbing marketing copy.
- A love for trying new things and thinking outside the IT marketing norm.
- Must have marketing experience with a Managed IT Services Provider (MSP)—understanding of the industry, target audience, and competitive landscape is essential.
- Proven track record of developing and executing creative marketing campaigns that drive engagement and lead generation.
- Portfolio of work required—candidates must showcase previous marketing campaigns, content, or creative projects during the interview.
- 3 years of experience in B2B marketing, content creation, or brand strategy.
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills—ability to craft compelling marketing messages that resonate with small and medium-sized businesses.
- Experience with digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, PPC, and content marketing.
- Ability to think outside the box and challenge conventional IT marketing approaches.
- Strong collaboration skills—must work effectively with designers, writers, and leadership to bring ideas to life.
- A self-starter with a growth mindset who is always looking for new ways to improve marketing efforts.
