Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as the Head of Global Sales and Marketing at LG Resources. The role involves overseeing business planning, sales operations, team management, sales strategies, and account management on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven history of at least 10 years in sales and marketing leadership roles, with a focus on global markets.
- Experience in home appliances, kitchen equipment, blending, or similar industry is highly desirable.
- Expertise in distribution and dealer sales channel management required.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams.
- A strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales strategy that aligns with
the company's overall goals.
• Drive revenue growth through commercial, retail, and online sales channels.
• Lead the sales team in meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
• Build an effective sell-in and sell-through strategy that partners with the dealer
channels to grow end user adoption of the Blendtec products.
• Lead the efforts to buildout, enhance, and support a MAP policy for Blendtec’s
products.
2. Sales Process Design:
• Design and optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and
customer satisfaction.
• Build and continuously improve the sales pipeline process, from lead generation
to conversion.
• Build and manage an integrated sales forecasting and order visibility process and
tools to ensure alignment with operations and supply chain.
• Identify and implement the appropriate sales process and technology solutions
to ensure an efficient and connected revenue engine that supports real-time data
insights and visibility.
3. Team Management:
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Set clear goals and provide ongoing coaching and support for team members.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, peers, internal and external stakeholders, and customers to reinforce and build Blendtec’s brand, values, and purpose.
• Lead the sales team by creating a high-performance culture, providing coaching,
and ensuring that the team is motivated and equipped with the right tools,
processes, training, and support. This includes recruiting talent, managing performance, and building a succession plan.
4. Marketing & Customer Experience Strategy:
• Develop and execute marketing plans that enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and generate demand.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling marketing campaigns and content that expands the Blendtec brand beyond the core smoothie and coffee shop marketplace.
• Oversee the customer service and customer experiences organization for the company, ensure timely resolution of customer concerns, warranty returns and brand/reputation management.
5. Global Revenue Growth / Optimize Distribution Footprint:
• Ensure revenue attainment through the current distribution and country footprint, where it is necessary to optimize distribution partners, contracts, and countries to support company growth targets.
• Build and implement and comprehensive distribution margin program that creates revenue stability, incentivizes, and aligns dealers’ objectives with Blendtec to create profitable revenue growth.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key partners and distributors to ensure revenue growth and Blendtec product access in our preferred end user market segments.
6. Market Analysis:
• Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
• Utilize market research and data analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Provide direction to the company on competitive actions occurring in the market, pricing and product recommendations and strategic actions needed to effectively win against the competition.
7. Budget Management:
• Develop and manage the sales and marketing budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Develop and implement align sales incentive programs for the sales and marketing team to align to the annual sales objectives.
Opportunities:
1. 30 Days:
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, customers, and the operations team to develop and maintain a comprehensive forecasting tool. Over time, this tool should interface with Blendtec’s CRM and ERP systems. Ensure on-time delivery
(OTD) of products according to the forecast by coordinating with operations and the contract manufacturer.
• Partner with the Blendtec team to review and improve the international warranty process. Optimize this process to provide greater visibility into warranty claims, facilitating feedback to the quality group.
• Collaborate with the team to develop a roadmap, pricing strategy, and launch plans for all new product introductions (NPIs).
• Lead the team in creating and executing a brand refresh/revitalization plan.
2. 60 Days:
• Assess the current sales and marketing structure and, if necessary, propose changes to the organizational structure, commission, and bonus system to align with business objectives.
• Evaluate the existing distributor program and implement any necessary changes to meet Blendtec’s financial targets.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to initiate the 2025 Strategic Plan cycle. This should include top-line revenue forecasting, gross margin expectations, and partner programs and
promotions to support the financial objectives for 2025.
• Enhance Blendtec’s Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process with partners and distributors to ensure accountability for business goals and metrics.
3. Moving Forward:
• Lead efforts to prepare an annual distributor partner program with quotas, expectations, and objectives to support 2025 and future Strategic Plans.
• Drive revenue acceleration programs for market expansion across Blendtec’s commercial, retail, and NPI markets.
Salary : $120,000 - $270,000
