LG Electronics’ North America Innovation Center (a.k.a., LG NOVA) in Santa Clara, California has an ambitious vision to become the nerve center of global innovation. Aiming to create the future of LG with the focus on disruptive and exponential growth areas such as healthcare, cleantech, and AI, LG NOVA’s mission is to create and launch new LG ventures by working with global corporations, startups, governments, and technology stakeholders using open / outside-in innovation.

This is where you come in! Our Innovation Center is looking for a contract Executive Assistant to provide short-term support at our Santa Clara office. This is an onsite position.

What You’ll Do :

  • Leadership Support :

  • Assist the SVP and other Innovation Center leaders with daily administrative duties
  • Manage schedules and calendars for the team
  • Arrange, coordinate, and schedule meetings
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Accounting Month-End Closing :
  • Voucher entries for vendor invoices, corporate credits for the team
  • Process expenses for the leadership team
  • Process invoices for temp employees on the team
  • Office Management :
  • Create and provide different types of EP expense forms when EP approvals are needed
  • Take meeting minutes to provide the summarized weekly status in a document
  • Serve as administrative liaison with external partner organizations
  • Coordinate company events by cooperating and taking charge of a part of the event
  • Education and Skills We’d Like You To Have :

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • At least 3 years in an administrative role required
  • Financial accounting knowledge and budget management experience for the financial department are required
  • Attending business meetings and writing reports to top management are required
  • Experience using MS Windows on PCs, Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be a self-starter and show initiative to identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize among several frequently changing assignments
  • Deadline / goal-oriented, high energy individual
  • Please Note : this is a short-term contract position.
