What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control QC Scientist position at LGC Group?
- Independently perform operational and lab duties using standard microbiology analytical chemistry and aseptic techniques< / li>
- Process record and analyse data following approved test methods and work instructions using good documentation practices< / li>
- Support the quality control group operations in maintaining standards in safety speed quality cost & equipment< / li>
- Support the organizations commercial and development activities while also ensuring compliance with ISO13485 standards and applicable regulatory standards< / li>
- Identify assay and process improvement opportunities based on firsthand observation and data review< / li>
- Maintain training requirements carrying out selfassessments on performance and goalsetting linked to business initiatives and other key performance indicators< / li>
- Support validation of quality control processes by documenting operational and performance qualifications.< / li>
- Support in continuous improvement projects and lean manufacturing initiatives< / li>< / ul>
Qualifications : < / b> < / p>
- Bachelors degree in relevant life sciences field (molecular biology microbiology biochemistry etc.)or equivalent combination of applicable education and relevant work experience< / li>
- Experience with standard biological techniques including enzyme activity assays ELISA PCR Next Gen Sequencing< / li>
- Exprience with standard analytical techniques including electrophoresis chromatography mass spectrometry spectroscopy< / li>
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to effectively meet production needs< / li>
- Ability to gather and organize information interpret and develop appropriate recommendations for effective action< / li>
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Outlook Word and Excel< / li>< / ul>< / p>
