Job Description
We're looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our LGC Team!
You will be encouraged to provide detailed analysis of sales and marketing data and to help support global sales activities and initiatives with a secondary responsibility to assist the global finance team. As an experienced analyst you'll be responsible for working closely with other commercial analysts dedicated to prioritizing, validating and preparing accurate and timely data for the purpose of presentations, dashboards, sales territory analysis and customer type, customer, product and install base analyses. Delivering reports, to recommend and establish leading indicators to the health of the business unit, to conduct reviews of performance and associated metrics and to provide master data integrity.
You'll bring extensive experience with financial reporting, data aggregation from various input systems, and sophisticated data analysis. This experience will include the identification, reporting and presentation of key business metrics and trends to associated function, working directly into commercial management but with a considerable breadth of responsibility for reporting across operations. A great teammate possessing the flexibility to give to business development activities, and effectively contribute to cross-functional collaboration and coordination to stay in sync with all laws, regulations, policies, and company quality management system procedures that govern our business globally. This position is very dynamic and requires both focus and attention to detail.

Minimum: $56,900 annually
Maximum: $94,900 annually
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on several factors such as: experience, skills, and location.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively review and report on commercial performance across regions, territories, and accounts.
- Content generation and support of routine monthly and quarterly reporting requirements and presentations.
- Maintains master alignment of accounts and sales territories; updates and/or input of accurate information into ERP and Salesforce systems to ensure data integrity.
- Conduct analysis for commercial business related to budgeting and forecasting on a regional and global scale.
- Support Commercial Directors in regional data analysis requirements and opportunity identification.
- Propose, develop and implement improvements to reporting tools through the identification of key leading and lagging indicators.
- Recommends data requirement standards to ERP and Business Object teams.
- Improve revenue opportunities. This will include price elasticity modeling, proposal pricing analysis, pro forma projections with key opportunities, and other similar duties.
- Closely studies past sales data to determine trends and shares with sales leadership.
- Run the daily product tracking report that will communicate demand, revenue recognition, product testing and commercial launch execution.
- Produce critical metric updates for product launch and performance tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing or related field.
- Proven track record in financial and sales data analysis in a relevant market sector with shown experience and skills.
- Experience in reporting and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, Salesforce.com, etc.)
- Leadership experience desired.
- Experience in data mining, manipulation, and analysis in multiple database systems.
- Good understanding of statistical methods and the ability to apply them to real-world data.
- Industry experience (life sciences, biotech) or experience in a global organization preferred.
- Leading sophisticated projects with multiple customers to successful completion.
- Committed to achieving goals, ensuring targets are reached within set timelines and budgets.
- Self-starter with the energy and strive to tackle tough challenges and see them through to conclusion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that focus on transparency and simplicity, both written and oral with ability.
