We are seeking a highly experienced Data Scientist (Big Data Engineer) Specialist to join our team in Austin, TX. This role demands an expert-level candidate with a comprehensive and authoritative knowledge of Big Data Engineering, Data Science, and Data Administration. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing the Fraud Analytics roadmap and driving the organization's data engineering strategy.
This is a hands-on, on-site position that involves designing and developing scalable, efficient data pipelines, working closely with data scientists and analysts, and building AI tools that support business automation and insights.
Key Responsibilities:-
Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines to support large-scale data integration initiatives.

Implement Big Data solutions to support Fraud Analytics initiatives.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver relevant solutions.

Establish and promote data engineering best practices within the organization.

Develop AI/ML tools and automation solutions to enhance business operations.

Perform advanced data analysis to uncover trends and insights that drive decision-making.

Serve as a subject matter expert for data architecture and engineering practices.

Minimum 15 years of experience in Data Science, Big Data Engineering, or related fields.

10 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable data pipelines.

Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.

Hands-on experience with Databricks on Azure (preferred).

Expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data warehousing.

Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Experience working in fraud analytics or financial domains.

Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade data solutions.

Familiarity with AI/ML tools and frameworks.

Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps in a data engineering context.

This is an onsite position in Austin, TX and requires full-time presence at the office (5 days per week).
