About the Role :

Location : Clovis, CA This is not a virtual position.

The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our health care services at LGTC Group at our clinic in Clovis CA. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to our team, which includes managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling travel arrangements. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maintaining organized medical records and facilitating effective communication within the office. Assist in processing and resolving medical billing issues and insurance claims. Great patients and check them in while making them feel welcome. By efficiently managing day-to-day administrative tasks, the Administrative Assistant will contribute to the overall productivity and efficiency of our health care services. Ultimately, this role is vital in creating a supportive environment that allows our healthcare professionals to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 4 years proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role within a professional environment required.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Associate's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience in the health care industry is a plus. Mental Health industry experience would be a huge plus.
  • Responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain calendars for team members, ensuring all appointments and meetings are scheduled efficiently.
  • Engage with patients upon arrival and check them in and make them feel comfortable and welcome
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation for staff as needed.
  • Resolve medical billing issues and help with insurance claims and denials.
  • Answer and direct multi-line phone calls, providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Organize and arrange meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Skills :

    The required skills for this position, such as general administrative abilities and calendar management, are essential for maintaining an organized workflow. Should have knowledge of medical billing and insurance practices. Daily tasks will involve using multi-line phone systems to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly. Proficiency in records management will be critical for maintaining accurate documentation, which supports compliance and operational efficiency. Additionally, the ability to arrange meetings and travel will require strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that all logistics are handled smoothly. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with health care services(focus on mental health), will enhance the candidate's ability to understand the specific needs of our team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
