LHB has an immediate opportunity for an Architect | Project Manager to join our commercial and higher education studios, with the possibility of working in other markets in the future. The hybrid position will be based in our Minneapolis office, with a supervisor providing mentorship and guidance in support of your career growth. The position, a part of our Integrative Design Team (IDT) business unit, will offer opportunities to work alongside our in-house design and engineering disciplines in support of our goal of being the leader in creating regenerative communities.

Position Summary
The responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:
- Leading project design teams
- Delivering integrative projects
- Writing specifications
- Proposal creation
- Client and consultant coordination
- Managing scope, schedule, budget (internal and external) for multiple projects simultaneously
- Mentoring of emerging professionals
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Licensed to practice Architecture in the state of Minnesota OR capable of licensure in Minnesota
- 7 years’ experience
- Proficiency in Revit
- Professional verbal communication and writing skills
- Experience with specification writing
- Upon receipt of an offer of employment, applicants must be able to successfully complete pre-employment onboarding requirements that will include a criminal/civil background check and drug screen, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
- Experience with and knowledge of large-scale mixed-use developments
- Experience with multi-family residential building design and podium construction
- Experience with Minnesota State or other higher education comprehensive plans, predesigns, and construction projects
- Construction administration experience with multiple building systems
- Strong interest in QA/QC processes
- Experience with housing-specific sustainable design initiatives including Green Communities, LEED, B3, Energy Star, PHIUS and/or similar
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- This position’s anticipated base salary range is $81,700- $115,100 annually. This position is eligible for year-end and profit-sharing bonuses. Offer will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skill, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our current team.
