Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a certified occupational therapy assistant to provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes in Hazle Township, PA. As an occupational therapy assistant, you will work with patients to restore them to their fullest physical ability and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, following the established plan of care.
- Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
- Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in patient condition to supervising OT, nurse supervisor, and/or physician.
- C coordinate care with healthcare team members as appropriate.
Requirements
- Current OTA licensure in state of employment.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to dependable vehicle or public transportation.
