Responsibilities
The Manager of Dietary & Environmental Services is responsible for planning, monitoring and managing patient, cafeteria and
catered food production; for oversight of environmental services including patient and non-patient areas and for assuring
compliance with regulatory standards for food and environmental service.
- Maintains adherence to polices/procedures
- Directs meal planning under direction of Registered Dietitian
- Monitors diet orders on all patients
- Serves as a nutritional resource person
- Maintains an up to date dietary manual in collaboration with Registered Dietitian
- Coordinates and supervises daily activities of staff
- Establishes and assures adherence to production procedures and schedules
Education and Experience
Education Requirements
* Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Food Administration or related field.
Experience Requirements
* 5 years of Food Service Supervisory/Management.
License Requirements
* Certified Dietary Manager, certified by the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP).
* Service Safe Certification or Equivalent.
* Works under Direction of Licensed Dietitian.
