Account Manager
This role serves as the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional service and driving mutual success. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for building lasting partnerships. This is a Direct Hire opportunity in North Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities :
- Act as the dedicated liaison for assigned accounts, fostering strong, professional relationships and serving as the primary point of contact for all inquiries and needs.
- Drive revenue growth by maintaining and expanding existing customer accounts, achieving monthly gross profit targets, and strategically negotiating pricing to optimize both customer and company freight spend.
- Proactively analyze and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision, developing effective solutions that meet customer expectations and maintain high service standards.
- Build and schedule shipments within the Transportation Management System (TMS) according to customer specifications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Champion a "Raving Fans" approach by providing proactive updates, delivering exceptional service, and upholding the company's commitment to an elite service standard.
- Collect and manage proof of delivery (POD) documentation, and utilize customer service data to analyze trends, set service goals, and improve customer satisfaction.

Pay Details : $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
