Role Description
This is a full-time role as an Account Manager at Schmechtig Landscapes. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, understanding client needs, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Working in the landscape maintenance department
This role involves overseeing landscape enhancement services and installations by managing materials, projects, equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Client Communication: Regularly interacting with clients to understand client needs.
- Installation projects: Create project proposals and supervise enhancement projects.
- Property Inspections & Action Plans: Preparing for service visits by inspecting properties and creating action plans.
- Post-Service/project Monitoring: Observing landscapes after service to detect issues like insects or diseases.
- Crew Support & Coordination: Leading crews to meet work and schedule demands, offering hands-on support.
- Staffing & Scheduling: Scheduling and managing crew members, ensuring paperwork is up to date.
- Administrative Tasks: Managing administrative systems like timesheets, job databases, and service schedules.
- Material Ordering & Budgeting: Ordering materials, tracking costs, and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Sales Support: Assisting with enhancement sales tasks when needed.
- In essence, this role combines hands-on management, client communication, employee development, and operational oversight.
Qualifications

- Understanding of Landscaping and Horticulture

- Experience in Sales or Account Management
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in Aspire software - AutoCAD or other design software
- Minimum of 3 years of prior customer service, management, and leadership experience within an organization, the landscaping industry, or local marketplace, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience
