Job Opportunity : Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temp-to-Perm)
Location : 100% On-site; Englewood, New Jersey
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM
Compensation : $32-35 / hour (flexible)
Summary :
We are assisting our client in their search to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent. The ideal candidate is comfortable with reconciliations, can think independently, and acts proactively.
Responsibilities :
Oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls for billing,
collections, and cash applications
Process daily cash applications for customer receipts and manage disputes by
obtaining necessary documentation
Assess staff performance, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide training and feedback
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve AR claims and chargebacks
Manage monthly AR close, reconciliations, revenue reporting, and collection status
reviews
Administer Sales Tax documents for Tax Audits
Set and monitor customer credit limits, and review credit decisions and slow-paying accounts with management
Propose and enforce improvements to department policies and procedures
Conduct research to support Sales, Service, and Operational teams
Generate quarterly revenue forecasts for the US division
Contribute to Oracle ERP system conversion, including documentation, testing, and SOX Controls Research & Analysis
Serve as the Oracle Implementation Manager for AR, ensuring smooth functionality, training, and support
Provide weekly AR updates to the Controller and escalate issues as necessary
Analyze AR metrics and deliver detailed recommendations to the CFO and CEO
Qualifications :
Extensive experience in Accounts Receivable with a focus on reconciliations
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience with Oracle ERP systems is a plus
