LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company located in Dayton, NJ. This is a contract position.
Job Title: Accounts Receivable Assistant
Location: Dayton, NJ (Hybrid role after fully on-site training)
Employment Type: Contract
Salary: $28- $35/hr.
Status: Accepting Candidates
Description: This position is open due to a recent transition to SAP in the fall. The accounting team is currently overwhelmed, and although SAP is fully implemented, we need someone with extensive SAP experience, specifically S/4Hana, who can hit the ground running.
Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule with the ability to work from home on Mondays and Fridays after initial on-site training (5 days a week on-site to start).
Contract Length: There is a full-time need, but this role could be interim while searching for a full-time person, which could take months. If the candidate is a solid fit, it could transition to a temp-to-perm role, likely around 6 months.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (flexible).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process B2B payments in a high-volume environment, including remittances, deductions, and discounts.
- Ensure A/R activities comply with corporate norms and training standards, supporting the Cash Service team.
- Identify and escalate risks for resolution and propose process improvements for greater efficiency.
- Utilize SAP for A/R postings and manage consumer product payment workflows.
- Maintain accurate records, perform reconciliations, and contribute to reporting.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4Hana.
- 3-5 years of A/R experience, preferably in a consumer product-related corporate environment.
- Expertise in SAP A/R postings and handling large volumes of payment transactions.
- General accounting knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
