Job Opportunity : Administrative
Location : Onsite in Oakdale, CA
Pay Rate : $20 per hour
Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Specialist to join our team. This role involves supporting procurement, inventory control, scheduling, and other operational activities while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Review invoices, receiving documents, and inventory transactions to ensure accuracy.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with corporate and plant teams.
Provide backup support for procurement, scheduling, inventory control, and supply room functions.
Analyze daily inventory and exception reports to assist the procurement team.
Prepare purchase requisitions or purchase orders for goods and services as required.
Verify the accuracy and completeness of purchase requests.
Monitor and expedite deliveries for the procurement and maintenance teams.
Collaborate with procurement and maintenance teams to ensure adequate inventory levels.
Update requesting departments on purchase order statuses.
Assist in closing or canceling purchase orders in coordination with relevant departments.
Ensure orders are accurately processed and assigned to the correct accounts.
Inspect incoming stock for damage or discrepancies and resolve issues with vendors.
Conduct regular supply room cycle counts and participate in annual inventory counts.
Support scheduling processes by managing process orders and requisitions.
Work closely with teams across procurement, logistics, inventory control, finance, and operations.
Adhere to all corporate and plant policies and compliance standards.
Contribute to cost-reduction initiatives and projects.
Accurately complete and process all required documentation.
Evaluate and analyze information to identify the best solutions for operational challenges.
Qualifications :
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with various teams.
Proficiency in handling multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Familiarity with procurement, inventory control, and scheduling processes is a plus.
Pay Details : $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
