LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Bilingual Medical Office Admin for a contract-to-hire position in Tampa, FL. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills with an established nationwide healthcare company delivering a unique service.

Responsibilities

Responsible for patient appointment scheduling

Creation of new patient charts and maintenance of patient records

Scanning and filing patient documents and ensuring complete and accurate information

Managing incoming phone calls

Obtaining insurance authorization

Providing financial counseling for patients and posting over the counter (OTC) payments

Daily document research on an electronic health / medical record system

Experience :

At least 1-2 years of experience with EMR / electronic health / medical record systems (preferably NextGen and / or OnBase).

Working knowledge of HIPAA and other medical insurance regulations and terminology for private payer, state and federal plans including coding, billing and reimbursement protocols.

Spanish speaking required. Large patient volume with Spanish patients as well as those from hospital, walk-ins, and varying backgrounds.

Employment Type : Contract-to-Hire

Schedule : Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Pay Details : $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
