W2 TTH Contract Oil & Gas Title Attorney
Hybrid Remote (4 WFH, 1 Downtown Pittsburgh as Needed)
Full-time or Part-time Work Available
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Pittsburgh firm in search of a few contract title attorneys to work on a project starting immediately and expected to last through Spring 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for licensed attorneys with oil / gas title experience (preferably in OH, PA, and WV) to join a dynamic team. The role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement with 4 days remote and 1 day in the office as needed.
Responsibilities :
Draft comprehensive and accurate title opinions for oil, gas, and mineral titles.
Conduct thorough research on title and land records.
Perform due diligence, leaseholds, mineral reports, and quality control.
Assist with diverse legal projects across various practice areas.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Produce well-written, clear, concise, and error-free documents.
Manage assigned tasks independently, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness.
Qualifications :
Ability to commute 1 day a week to downtown Pittsburgh as needed.
2 years of experience with oil / gas title abstract review is required with the ability to examine abstracts of title, leases, contracts, and related legal documents.
2 years of experience drafting oil, gas, and mineral title opinions.
2 years curative title experience.
Actively licensed and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PA preferred, OH & WV a plus).
Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to juggle multiple projects effectively while maintaining focus and accuracy.
Proficiency in legal research databases and title software.
Passion for learning and staying ahead in the oil & gas legal landscape.
Compensation :
Hourly Pay Rate is $32-$35 DOE
