Job Summary : LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking to hire a Corporate Controller our Manufacturing Client. The Manufacturing Corporate Controller will oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing processes to support the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and industry standards.
Manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local government regulations related to financial reporting and tax filings.
Coordinate and oversee annual audits, including preparation of audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.
Monitor cash flow and manage investments to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Supervise and mentor finance staff, ensuring professional development and adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with plant managers to develop and monitor plant budgets and financial performance.
Maintain and enhance internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in manufacturing accounting and knowledge of industry regulations.
CPA, CMA, or other relevant accounting certification preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to machinery and chemicals.
Vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents.
Hearing sufficient to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
