LHH is currently partnering with a nonprofit organization in the Washington DC area seeking a Donation Coordinator to join their team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at managing multiple tasks with precision and efficiency. This is a temporary to hire position and will begin ASAP.
Location: Washington DC
Salary: $20-23/hour (Temporary), $47,000-$52,000/year (Permanent)
Schedule: Hybrid schedule - 3 days in office
What You'll Do:
Master Data Management: Process daily donations, including checks, credit cards, and online contributions, and ensure accurate biographical data entry. Manage individual gifts, institutional grant agreements, and payments with attention to detail.
Audit and Reconcile: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly data audits to maintain the highest accuracy in our records. Reconcile gifts and account data with our fiscal system and ensure all information is up-to-date and correct.
Liaise and Coordinate: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Global Leadership Pillar and the fiscal department. Collaborate with the fiscal team to track and reconcile incoming gifts. Manage relationships with external data partners and coordinate data imports and exports with vendors.
Enhance Systems: Develop and maintain donor records, including processing gifts and updating biographical information. Ensure all gifts are correctly coded and contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of our data management processes.
Communicate and Collaborate: Share crucial information with team members through regular updates and meetings. Work closely with the marketing team and external partners to manage batch gift reports and data-related communications.
What You Bring to the Job:
Analytical Expertise: Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to handle multiple projects with precision and accuracy.
Technical Proficiency: High-level skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with data entry, quality assurance, and report generation. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar fundraising databases is preferred.
Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy in managing constituent records.
Customer Service Orientation: Experience providing top-notch customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
