LHH Recruitment Solutions is proactively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HRIS Specialist to join our team on a contract basis.
Job Title : HRIS Specialist (Contract)
Location : Houston area, TX
Job Type : Temp / Contract
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM
Pay Rate : $25.00 - $30.00 / hr (DOE)
As an HRIS Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to ensure that HR data is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies. You will collaborate with HR teams to troubleshoot system issues, configure system updates, generate key reports, and provide guidance on HRIS best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, an analytical mindset, and experience working with HRIS platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- HRIS Data Management : Oversee the accuracy and integrity of employee data within the HRIS, including personal details, compensation, job history, benefits, and more.
- System Configuration : Assist with system configurations, updates, and changes to ensure the HRIS is optimized for business needs.
- Reporting & Analytics : Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from the HRIS to provide insights into key HR metrics such as turnover, employee engagement, headcount, and compensation.
- Troubleshooting & Technical Support : Troubleshoot HRIS issues, resolve system errors, and provide technical support to HR staff and end-users.
- Process Improvement : Recommend and implement improvements to HRIS processes, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Training & Documentation : Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for HR staff and system users on how to use the HRIS effectively.
- Data Audits & Compliance : Perform regular audits of HRIS data to ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal company policies.
- Collaboration with HR Teams : Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to ensure smooth HRIS operations and provide data insights to support decision-making.
