LHH is seeking an HR Coordinator for a contract position in Charlotte, NC! The ideal candidate has 2 years of HR experience specifically within employee relations and recruiting coordination. This position is fully in office Monday - Friday.

The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records subject to federal contractor requirements and/or security clearance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance of employee records via the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate and manage all onboarding activities for new hires, including conducting new hire orientations and safety training.
- Maintain employee benefits by ensuring accurate enrollments and processing life event changes.
- Assist in recruiting activities, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized individuals.
- Compile data from the HRIS and prepare various HR-related reports.
- Complete and review background checks and e-verify (I9) documentation.
- May assist in computing wages and recording data for payroll processing.
- Compile and maintain records for use in employee benefits administration.
- Administer and track FMLA, STD, LTD, and ADA processes, including monitoring benefit paybacks.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of HR experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- High degree of professionalism and ethics.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- HRIS experience
