Key Responsibilities :
Oversee daily interactions with employees, managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Execute onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation, employee handbook review, benefits overview, E-Verify, and background checks. Maintain new hire files.
Address and resolve complex employee relations issues through effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Enhance manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, and providing coaching and counseling.
Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
Partner with the safety team to promote a culture of workplace safety, including workers' compensation administration, light duty programs, and injury tracking.
Maintain a positive and knowledgeable relationship with labor unions in the assigned territory, where applicable.
Administer employee benefits (enrollment, claims, terminations, issues) in collaboration with providers and PEO – Health & Welfare Benefits and 401(k) retirement plans.
Qualifications :
Strong problem-solving skills
Organized with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently
Associate's degree in human resources, business, management, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
4 years of experience in human resource management preferred
Knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, and federal and state employment laws
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred
Schedule :
Monday – Friday (8 : 00am – 4 : 30pm)
Compensation :
50,000 - $60,000 / Year
