About the Role:
Ideal candidates will have experience in consumer warranty, lemon law, or product liability litigation and possess strong organizational and case management skills.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, including correspondence, agreements, and pleadings.
- Work closely with attorneys to advance litigation cases by providing regular case updates and flagging urgent client or case needs.
- Assist with discovery processes, including document production, discovery requests, and depositions.
- Manage and organize case files using iManage for document management.
- Participate in document review and analysis through various platforms.
- Assist with trial preparation, including coordinating witnesses, preparing exhibits, and attending trial if necessary.
- Support mediation, arbitration, and client meetings by compiling and managing case materials.
- 5 years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in consumer warranty, lemon law, or product liability litigation.
- Proven ability to manage case files and meet critical deadlines.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with client billing guidelines and experience recording billable hours.
- Willingness to travel nationwide for trial assistance when needed.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
