LHH is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist for our client in Richmond. This specialty provider offers a hybrid work schedule after approximately 6 months of employment.
Overview :
Location : Richmond, VA
Hiring method : Contract to Hire or Direct Hire
After 6 months of employment, hybrid schedule
Hours : Monday - Friday, 8a-430p or 830a-5p
Responsibilities :
Process medical billing claims
Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable including contacting insurance payers
Resolve billing issues, working claims until payment is received
Communicate with patients and insurance companies regarding billing inquiries
Requirements :
Experience in medical billing, medical accounts receivable, or medical payment posting (1 year or more)
Knowledge of billing software / EMR systems
Strong knowledge of payer guidelines and ability to read / analyze EOBs
Pay Details : $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
