Medical Biller – Richmond, VA
LHH Recruitment Solutions is excitingly partnering with a healthcare organization in Richmond, VA, to find a Medical Biller who is ready to take the next step in their career! If you have billing experience, a strong understanding of insurance, and the ability to read an EOB, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Position Details :
Hours : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 / 5PM
Location : Richmond, VA
What You’ll Be Doing :
Reviewing open accounts and working with insurance companies / MCOs to collect overdue payments
Researching and resolving claim denials on a weekly basis
Making outbound collection calls while maintaining strong professional relationships
Addressing client billing issues and assisting with accounts receivable delinquencies
Collecting and processing payments in accordance with due dates
Identifying issues causing account delinquencies and escalating them as needed
Monitoring and following up on assigned accounts, including sending correspondence and faxes to encourage payment
What We’re Looking For :
1-3 years of experience in billing or payment posting (entry-level candidates welcome!)
Basic understanding of insurance processes and the ability to read an Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn—training is provided!

Pay Details : $18.00 to $23.00 per hour
