Medical Customer Service Supervisor
Schedule : M-F 8am-5 : 30pm. (Will possibly require some Saturdays if necessary)
Pay Range : $43,000 - $48,000 depending on experience
Employment Type : Full time, Direct Hire position, Onsite in Albuquerque, NM
Responsibilities
Communicate and assist patients and clients, including handling phone calls, processing customer orders, and aiding walk-in clientele.
Provide recommendations and measure appropriate equipment and supplies for patients.
Follow up on equipment provided to patients at home or in the hospital, handling warranties and repairs.
Make inventory recommendations for the warehouse, including ordering, pricing, and maintaining inventory levels.
Provide customer service training on products, reimbursement procedures for third-party payers, and departmental protocols.
Hire, train, and motivate all customer service staff, manage overtime reporting, and approve sales commissions.
Prioritize and delegate job tasks to ensure timely and quality completion, including managing the Customer Service schedules and time card reporting.
Maintain a safe, clean, and profitable sales floor to support retail growth, which includes inventory control, merchandising, and daily safety inspections.
Collaborate with the operations manager and clinical specialists to meet all customer requirements.
Resolve and communicate issues with patients, referral sources, and insurance companies, and provide management with issues and resolutions to enhance Quality Improvement standards.
Approve all Customer Service orders in the patient database for confirmation.
Submit daily work orders to accounts receivable and / or to file.
Regularly achieve departmental managerial goals, including minimal overtime, meeting sales targets, and reducing outstanding sales orders.
Promote and maintain a healthy work environment that encourages quality, sales, and enthusiasm among employees.
Perform additional duties as requested by the General Manager.
Qualifications :
Must hold prior Supervisory experience
Previous healthcare experience is required
Fast learner with a willingness to assist.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Experience in management in a healthcare setting.
HS Diploma / GED required.
