Job Title : Patient Registration Specialist
Location : Rochester, MN
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Type : Contract to Permanent
LHH Recruitment Solutions is thrilled to partner with a healthcare organization in Rochester, MN, to find a Patient Registration Specialist ! This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with patients while supporting a seamless registration process.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Manage patient appointment scheduling, ensuring proper coverage and handling out-of-office calls.
- Handle complete and accurate patient registration, including pre-appointment insurance verification.
- Create new patient charts and scan and file patient documents.
- Review clinician documentation to ensure patient charts are complete and ready for visits.
- Provide administrative support for closing patient visits, including obtaining insurance authorizations, financial counseling, and posting over-the-counter payments.
