Payroll Clerk- Gardner, KS
LHH is partnering with a client in the Manufacturing industry in Gardner, KS area to fill their Payroll Clerk role. The Payroll Clerk’s responsibility is to oversee the payroll process, ensure employees are paid timely & accurately, maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and assist employees with payroll related inquiries / issues.
Responsibilities :
- Collecting and verifying timekeeping information for all employees
- Calculating pay according to hours worked, overtime, and deductions.
- Entering payroll data into the system and maintaining payroll records
- Preparing and distributing paychecks and direct deposit statements
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Assisting with payroll audits and reporting

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (Hybrid)
