LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Payroll Clerk job opportunity for the corporate office located in Pittsburg, CA. This position is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in payroll. The role will be responsible for auditing timecards, review and verify pay rates, verify approvals, customer service and communications with personnel regarding payroll questions, direct deposit, taxation changes, assemble various payroll reports, use Microsoft Excel with spreadsheets to stay on top of payroll data, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned. This position does not require payroll processing skills but will utilize your ability to reconcile and analyze payroll and communicate with team members.
Qualifications :
- Professional experience in Payroll
- Knowledge of payroll rules and regulations
- Understanding proper methods of payroll time reporting and record keeping
- Excellent Data Entry skills (Typing & 10 key)
- Solid computer / technical skills (Outlook, Word, & Excel - Intermediate)
- Excellent customer service and communications
- Detailed, accurate, and organized
- Team player, a positive attitude, and coachable
- Reliable, dedicated, and quick to learn
Experience : 1 year of Payroll experience (Payroll Assistant, Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, Payroll Technician)
