What You'll Do:
Prepare probate pleadings for both decedent’s estates and guardianships.
File probate pleadings, ensuring all relevant dates are calendared and notices are delivered timely.
Obtain proper authorizations to secure taxpayer identification numbers.
Marshall estate assets and assist with their liquidation and transfer.
Gather all necessary information related to assets to administer estates and fund trusts accurately.
Draft internal memos regarding asset administration and the progress of probate matters.
Communicate directly with clients about the administration of assets.
Prepare inventory and annual estate accounting.
Who You Are:
A paralegal with at least two years of relevant experience; a paralegal certificate is preferred.
Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
Energetic and eager to learn.
Committed to attending the office four days a week.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe software programs.
Compensation:
$50,000-$60,000/year
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
