LHH is in quest of a Project Billing Clerk in Glenview, IL. We are considering candidates with a minimum of three years of billing experience preferably from the engineering, construction, or architectural industries with progress billing experience being a significant advantage. This individual will be responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation of bills and invoices for clients. Location : Glenview, IL
Rate : $25-$27 / hr.
Position Type : Temp to hire
Worksite Type : Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Job Responsibilities :
Preparation and submission of multiple invoices at different stages of a project
Generate and prepare accurate and detailed invoices for clients
Review service reports to billings to ensure accurate reporting
Research and resolve inquiries regarding accounts from clients
Track the percentage of the project completed and ensuring that the billing aligns with the progress made
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client billing records and information in the billing system
Review contracts to ensure that the billing is in accordance with the agreed terms is an essential function
Identify and resolve all billing / payment issues with clients
Reconcile service reports to billings to ensure accurate reporting
Handle miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
Three years of billing experience required
Service-based industry is highly preferred
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to meet assigned deadlines
Exceptional customer service
Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks
