What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at LHH Recruitment Solutions?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support a well-known real estate development firm. This person will be responsible for managing general ledger entries, conducting account analysis, and preparing financial reports, while concurrently maintaining an environment with strong accounting controls.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining the General Ledger for assigned lines of business and communities.
Preparing journal entries and documenting complex accounting transactions.
Reviewing and reconciling complex bank and balance sheet accounts.
Resolving outstanding items on reconciliations in conjunction with other departments.
Preparing or assisting in the preparation of assigned month-end financial reports.
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of experience in accounting or related position.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics AX accounting system is a PLUS.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $33.00 per hour
