We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to grow and take on increasing responsibilities within our accounting department.
Initial Responsibilities:
Manage accounts payable processes.
Handle invoicing and ensure timely and accurate billing.
Process payroll and maintain precise payroll records.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
Conduct cost investigations to support financial decision-making.
Overseeing all financial reporting activities.
Creating and analyzing income statements and balance sheets.
Managing cost accounting and implementing controls.
Implementing and maintaining internal controls.
Developing and managing budgets and forecasts.
Ensuring compliance with governmental reporting requirements.
Managing banking relationships and securing financing.
Supervising accounting and HR staff.
Overseeing risk management, including insurance.
Conducting cash flow analysis and projections.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Proven experience in accounting or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
