LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join a well-established organization in Bergen County, NJ . This is a temp-to-perm or temporary opportunity, ideal for someone looking to contribute their accounting expertise while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general accounting principles, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and other month-end closing entries.
- Assist with the preparation of internal and external financial reports.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
- Review and verify the accuracy of financial data and transactions.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records and accounts.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Assist with tax filings, audit preparations, and other accounting-related duties.
- Provide support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Pay Details : $32.00 to $38.00 per hour
